In the cooperation framework between University of South Australia (UniSA) and Danang University of Technology (DUT), a joint conference of “Danang city development discussion” is held in Building E conference hall of DUT on April 7th, 2014. UniSA delegation of 18 members majored in Urban Planning led by Professor Mathieu Rown has a excitedly detailed discussion with DUT’s faculty of Architecture staff and students about Vietnam Central region urban planning in general, Danang city in particular. The conference interests focus on the differences between Australia and Vietnam urban planning and how to apply those differences in developing Danang urban and suburban areas sustainably toward a green city. Moreover, both party leaders also discuss staff and students exchange potentials and mutual research development on this precious meeting. At the end of conference, vice-dean of Faculty of Architecture, M.A Arc. Tran Duc Quang and Professor Rown agree to propose a prospective MOU between DUT and UniSA to enhance the cooperation linkages in the near future.
