Vice President of the University of Danang had a meeting with GSE’s presidential board representatives and chairman of MTUAF, the United States

 

In the morning of January 09, 2012, Le Tan Duy, Ph.D, Vice President of the University of Danang (UD) had a meeting with Prof. John H. Levan Ph.D, Chairman of Medical and Technological University of America Foundation –MTUAF, Mr. George McCullough, Vice President Business and Mr. Phil Polefrone, Senior Vice President, Workforce Solutions, GSE System, the United States.



On this visit, GSE’s leaders gave a lively presentation on GSE and showed their
goodwill to help UD in nuclear human resource development. For over 40 years of experience, GSE Systems has been the World Leader in real-time simulation and training solutions for the nuclear, electric power, oil refineries, gas and chemical process industries.



At the meeting, there were leaders of International Cooperation Department, Science, Technology and Environment Department, Administration, Academic Affairs Department UD, leader representatives from member universities such as Danang University of Technology’s leaders of Science, Post Graduate and International Cooperation Office, Electrical Engineering Faculty, Industry and Civil Construction Engineering Faculty , Thermal- Refrigeration Engineering Faculty, Chemical Engineering Faculty; Danang University of Education’s leaders of Science, Post Graduate and International Cooperation Office, Physics Faculty.



Le Tan Duy Ph.D summarised cooperative activities between UD and government and international organizations. During the meeting, two parties discussed cooperative opportunities to strengthen the mutual relationship. Mr. Le Tan Duy highly indicated his interest in receiving more supports from GSE and especially, from Prof. John H. Levan Ph.D so that UD can soon establish a new center or faculty focused on nuclear work- force training and related fields.

This was GSE’s first time to UD and the University is honoured to have been included in this visit.
