The delegation from People’s Committee of Mimasaka city, Japan paid an official visit to the University of Danang for speech and job interview



On late of August, the University of Danang (UD) had a meeting with the delegation from the People's Committee of Mimasaka City, Okayama Prefecture, Japan led by H.E Seiji Hagiwara - Mayor.

At the visit, the mayor made a speech at the University of Economics – UD on the topic of Economic Relations between the countries in the Asia - Pacific; Interview to recruit Vietnamese personnel working in Mimasaka City People's Committee as a project coordinator for receiving Vietnamese labor resources in the future; Then, the delegation visited UD’s Campus in Kontum to seek for training situation information and cooperation opportunities.

Reportedly, on May 4th, 2015, the delegation of UD led by Prof. Tran Van Nam visited and worked with the People’s Committee and City Council of Mimasaka and signed cooperation agreement with the purpose of enhancing international cooperation, diversifying forms of cooperation, seeking job opportunities for student and developing relationshipsof "Government - Business - University".

At the visit to UD on January, 2015, the mayor of Mimasaka city also shared his concern to UD for its role and locations in the Central region and for diligent hardworking characteristics of the Central people, with a result that he would like to recruit human resource from UD. Specifically, candidates who can use Japanese fluently will be recruited for working in the city of Mimasaka as the role of supporting, counseling, and caring for employees. The mayor also expressed his desire to open UD’s representative office in Mimasaka.

The two partiesshared the common wish to develop, exchange high-quality human resources for Mimasaka, create employment opportunities for students, and support the development of Japanese language and skills to work in corporation - government for UD’s staff and student. Furthermore, joint research, co-organization of scientific conferences and article publishing are also the mutual interest of the two parties.
