Opening and hand-over ceremony of Mitsubishi Automation Laboratory

 

On September 5, 2016, the opening and hand-over ceremony of Mitsubishi Automation Laboratory, which supported by Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam (MEVN) for Faculty of Electrical Engineering (FEE), was held at Center of Electrical Laboratories, University of Science and Technology – The University of Danang (DUT-UD). Attending the ceremony, from MEVN there were Mr. Takashi Nakayama -Deputy Director, Mr. Yoshimasa Kitada -Sale Manager, and Mr. Le Anh Duong - Assistant Sale Manager. From DUT and UD, there were Prof. Le Kim Hung – Rector of DUT, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Dinh Lam – Dean of Department of Science Technology and International Cooperation, DUT, MSc. Phan Hong Sang – Vice Dean of Department of Facility of UD, Dr. Nguyen Huu Hieu – Dean of FEE, Board of Faculty, lecturers, and students of FEE.

On behalf of DUT, Prof. Le Kim Hung expressed the great honor to welcome the representatives of MEVN for attending the ceremony and thank you for the support of Mitsubishi Automation Laboratory. After more than 8 months of the project execution with many milestones from negotiation, signing MoU, design, training, installation and transfer equipment, technical documents, and software, the laboratory was completely built on time. At the beginning of a new school year, the opening ceremony of Mitsubishi Automation Laboratory plays an important role for FEE to use the laboratory for supporting teaching in 2016-2017. The total supported cost is more than 1.9 billion VND excluding the reciprocal capital and the facility of DUT.  Besides supporting the laboratory, MEVN and FEE has been collaborated on organizing seminars of technology transfer, writing lectures, laboratory guide in the field of PLC, industrial communication network and SCADA.

Prof. Le Kim Hung also thank all lecturers of FEE for the efforts together with engineers from MEVN to successfully design the Mitsubishi Automation Laboratory as well as to prepare lectures, experiments for using effectively the laboratory. He also believes that the collaboration between DUT and MEVN will be enhanced in the future.

Mr. Takashi Nakayama expressed his thanks to DUT for selecting MEVN to collaborate. MEVN promises to keep collaboration with DUT in training and producing to students new technical solutions of Mitsubishi Electric. He also expects this collaboration will be more effective in the future.

At the ceremony, Prof. Le Kim Hung and Mr. Takashi Nakayama cut the inauguration band for the Mitsubishi Automation Laboratory. On behalf of DUT, Prof. Le Kim Hung gave a certificate of appreciation and would like to thanks MEVN for the contribution.
