Students from University of Economics – UD studied abroad in UK - Part 1: Greetings from beautiful Wales

 

Two students Ms. Ngo Nguyen Phuong Thao (40K01.1) and Ms. Phan Minh Thu (41K01.4 CLC) got used to living as an international student in UK after being here nearly 2 weeks. It is known that these two girls are the two outstanding students selected to participate in the 6 – month exchange program under the Erasmus + scholarship of EU – the full scholarship including air ticket and monthly per diem. Ms. Thu and Ms. Thao shared that during the first day in Wales, they were very surprised by the beauty of Cardiff city. It took them a day to get used to traffic here because it was contrary to Vietnam. But fortunately, with the help of international students in UK, they found satisfactory accommodation with the cute and fun landlord.

 

 

 

 

After completing the procedure at university and getting acquainted with friends, these two girls walked around Cardiff city to explore every corner of this beautiful city. They felt excited with roads and different architectural houses. 

The main means of transport of two girl is bicycle cause their accommodation is rather close to university and biking to school through beautiful roads is good for health as well as convenient for enjoying and breathing.

 

 

 

 

Talking about the expectation in this trip, Ms. Thu and Ms. Thao believed that 6 - month living and studying here will be the most wonderful memories during their student life. This is a chance for them not only improve specialized knowledge but also expand their understanding of culture, language. Maybe this is a preparation for the longer trips in future. They expressed their thanks to University of Economics - UD for bringing opportunities for students to visit a lot of new lands and study the advanced education as well as learn and improve more knowledge, great cultural experiences. In order not to betray the family, teachers and friends, Ms. Thao and Ms. Mai has promised to study well and continued to update their activities through articles and images.
