The workshop on “Marketing in the Connected Age” (MICA 2016) with the theme "Digital Marketing for Business: Forecasting, Potentials and Challenges" was officially held in October 15th.

Digital technology will play an extremely important role in marketing and communications to Danang brand name nationally and globally, particularly through a significant event – APEC 2017.
University of Economics – the University of Danang, in the first time to host the event, has actively cooperated with National Economics University, Hanoi; L'Assemblée des Directeurs d'IUT (ADIUT); Danang Young Entrepreneurs Association; Cork Institute of Technology and Vietnam Marketing Association (consultant and media sponsor), to successfully organize MICA 2016, bringing together more than 100 researchers and professional marketers from nearly 20 universities and colleges in Vietnam, together with international experts.
The workshop MICA 2016 received 67 articles and presentations on research and assessment of changes in modern marketing, especially the explosion of digital marketing and its applications in business.
The studies in MICA 2016 proceedings revolved around the contents: the potential and challenges of digital marketing in Vietnam; Digital marketing application situation, the difficulties and solutions through the lessons by enterprises; analysis of factors affecting consumer behavior in the digital era as banner, website, email, social network…; tools, techniques and methods of administration in the digital era; marketing trends in new era, and etc. ...
In introducing, giving proposal and sharing solutions, models and effective marketing method, that help businesses in mastering new markets, the workshop had 04 parallel sessions (after the opening session and round table discussion)

In answer of the questions raised by the journalists out of the workshop, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vo Thuy Anh - Vice Rector of University of Economics shared about the contents of the presentations and report, highly appreciated the role and benefits that MICA brought to the development of Marketing training.
