In the afternoon of October 20th, 2016 the delegation from CINEC Education Group, Canada led by Mr. Tom Harris – Superintendent of International Schools of British Columbia District visited and worked with the University of Danang (UD). In the delegation, there were also Mr. Harvey Su – Vice President of CINEC Education Group, Ms. Cindy Tang – Program Coordinator and Mr. Andy Dong – Marketing Manager of Southeast Asian area.

In the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Doan Quang Vinh – Vice President of UD briefly introduced about framework of organization as well as training programs of all member universities of UD. Vice President Doan Quang Vinh also emphasized that being one of the three biggest key regional universities in Vietnam, UD takes the responsibility of providing high – qualified workforce for Central area and Western highlands of Vietnam. Therefore, many alumni of UD are taking important roles in enterprises and organizations in the whole country”.
In addition, Assoc. Prof. Doan Quang Vinh also shared that VN-UK Institute of Research and Executive Education - a member of UD - is in the process of developing into VN-UK University - one of the leading international universities in Vietnam.
Responding to the question by Assoc. Prof. Doan Quang Vinh regarding framework of organization and training program at CINEC, Mr. Tom Harris briefly introduced about CINEC. At the end of the meeting, Mr. Tom Harris expressed his thanks to UD for the warm welcome and believed that cooperative programs in training and scientific research between the two universities will develop steadily.
