The University of Danang welcomed and worked with Asia Bunka Kai College, Japan

 

In the afternoon of November 1st, 2016, representatives from Asia Bunka Kai College (ABK College), Japan visited and worked with the University of Danang (UD).

The meeting attendees from UD included Prof. Dr. Tran Van Nam – President of UD, Dr. Hoang Hai – Director of International Cooperation Department, UD.

It is known that ABK Collegeis a member of Asian Student Cultural Association and established in 2013 at Bunkyo-ku area of ​​Tokyo with the long- standing history of operation (from 1957 until now). Over more than 50 years of training and doing research in Japanese language studies as well as talents training for Asia, ABK College has attracted many students from various universities in the world. Therefore, up to the present time, the number of international students of ABK College is 15,000.

Activities of ABK College

The goal of ABK College is to establish peace and development among different countries. Hence, ABK College always focuses on the expansion of cooperation with many countries in the world, especially Asian countries with the aim of working, exchanging and studying foreign languages together in the most favorable environment. In Vietnam, ABK College has the collaborative relationship with Dong Du Japanese Language School.

Since 1983, the Japanese course of ABK College has identified three characteristics as follows: -  Teach Japanese language for students from primary level to intermediate level; - Use effectively special database for the studying process to reach the higher education. - Set up the website for looking up information about colleges, universities (Japan Study Support - www.jpss.jp) of the Asian Student Cultural Association

03 focus points of Japanese language course of ABK College are as follows:

          

 

            

Academic  - train students to have enough ability to participate in the important exam;

Culture–  teach Japanese culture and language in parallel;

Experience – attach special importance to activities and experiences to enhance the communication skills in Japanese.

With levels from beginner to advanced level, the Japanese language course of ABK College has helped students to enhance the Japanese skills in order to communicate in higher education as well as apply for the job in the future.

Mr. Yamada, representative from ABK College presented that "Many students graduated from Japanese language course of ABK Collge are now taking important roles in enterprises and educational institutions in Asia."

At the end of the meeting, senior representatives from ABK Collegeexpressed their thanks to UD for the warm welcome and believed that cooperative programs in training and scientific research between the two universities will develop steadily.
