"Information Technology and Star-up skills" training course to prepare for the future



In the morning of November 07th, 2016, the University of Danang (UD) in collaboration with the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Vietnam (VCCI) and Microsoft Corporation opened training course "Information Technology and Entrepreneurship skills". The training course has attracted many students from different fields of study.

The ceremony was attended by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Vo Trung Hung – Director of R&D Department, Director of Software Development Center (SDC), UD and MSc. Trinh Cong Duy - Deputy Director of SDC

Reportedly, the course was a part of the project "YouthSpark Career Readiness - Enhance skills for employment and business for small and medium-sized enterprises and entrepreneurship for youth" which was sponsored by Microsoft Corporation. Initiated from April, 2016 and is expected to end in 2018, so far, the project has been implemented with many activities such as Career Days, Seminars, Training, in particular entrepreneurship skills training and employment for the youth have been focused.

The course was started immediately after the opening ceremony

Speaking at the opening, Ms. Le Thi Hong Nhi - Head of Public Relations, Microsoft Vietnam, said: "Microsoft YouthSpark is an initiative on a global scale by Microsoft Corporation launched in 2012 with a view to create opportunities for 300 million youth worldwide to access to education, employment and business start-up.  YouthSpark Career Readiness was created to connect supply and demand in the labor market to support young people for a better job and successful business start-up in a competitive and integrated economic context. "
