University of Economics – The University of Danang attended the PFMC Conference and discussed with IPAG Business School, France



As reported, in the duration of 04th to 12th, December, 2016, the mission of University of Economics, the University of Danang (DUE – UD) led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dao Huu Hoa – Vice Rector and Assoc. Prof.Dr. Vo Thi Thuy Anh – Vice Rector visited and discussed on bilateral cooperation projects with partners in Europe.

Ending a working visit to Germany, the delegation of DUE-UD continued working to France at the invitation of IPAG Business School to attend the opening ceremony of Paris Financial Management Conference - PFMC 2016.

PFMC 2016 is an annual specialized conference brought together more than 250 global scholars, researchers in financial - banking, accounting and financial economics; and has been rated as one of the Top 5 best specialized conferences in Europe.

At the conference, the IPAG Business School exchanged experience in organizing international conference with the mission of DUE-UD. Assoc. Prof. Vo Thi Thuy Anh expressed her special thanks to Organizing Board for their giving a great opportunity to DUE-UD to learn experience and host the professional conference at academic value. On behalf of the University, Assoc. Prof. Vo Thi Thuy Anh sent invitation to scholars, researchers of IPAG Business School to participate the International Conference on Accounting and Finance (ICOAF 2017) which will be organized by DUE-UD in two days June 15th-16th, 2017 in the city of Danang - Vietnam.

On this occasion, the delegation of DUE-UD also discussed on collaborative projects with Dr. Bernard Terrany - Director of International Cooperation of the IPAG Business School. Dr.Bernard Terrany briefed on IPAG learning environment as well as the potential for cooperation between the Faculty of Economics - Finance and DUE-UD, especially projects under the sponsorship of Erasmus+ Program by European Union. The two sides also discussed the potential for long-term cooperation in receiving students for internship, in which DUE-UD committed to maximum support students of IPAG Business School to come to DUE-UD. In addition, the transition of students studying at DUE-UD in the Summer School semester was also a focus of discussion. Dr.Bernard Terrany appreciated the efforts of DUE-UD leadership in international cooperation and promised to proceed with the MOU signing in 2017, as well as cooperation in Erasmus+ by European Union.
