During the visit to Japan, on April 6th 2017, Prof. Dr. Tran Van Nam – President of UD visited and signed a cooperation agreement with Kobe City College of Nursing. This is one of the best universities specialized in nursing training in undergraduate and postgraduate level in Japan.
The delegation on Japanese side included Prof. Shizue Suzuki - President, Prof. Keiko Nonimiya – Vice President, Heads of related departments and representatives of faculty members and staff. In the cooperation with Kobe City College of Nursing, UD hopes to push up cooperation in postgraduate education, scientific research, and seeking projects in the field of medicine and pharmacy for School of Medicine and Pharmacy of the University of Da Nang.
At the signing ceremony, under the witness of leaders, lecturers and representatives of PhD Students, Prof. Dr. Tran Van Nam gave a brief introduction about UD and School of Medicine and Pharmacy. He shared deep concern regarding the demand for high-qualified human resources in nursing for Vietnam's hospitals and the desire of society for upgrading the quality of the nursing resource in particular and the medical staff in general to take better care of people’s health in Vietnam.
