In the morning of July 18, 2017, University of Foreign Language Studies, the University of Danang (CFL – UD) singed the MoU with Tongwon University, Korea (TU) led by Dr. Young Kee Moe – Rector of TU.
The CFL-UD’s attendees included Dr. Tran Huu Phuc – Rector of CFL-UD, Dr. Dao Thi Thanh Phuong – Vice Rector of CFL-UD, MA. Vo Thi Thuy Trang- Vice Head of Science and International Cooperation Office, MA. Hoang Phan Thanh Nga – Vice Dean of Japanese – Korean – Thai Faculty.
At the meeting, Rector Tran Huu Phuc briefly introduced about framework of organization as well as training programs of CFL-UD. Especially, the senior representatives from two sides discussed about cooperative programs, faculty exchange and student mobility programs which will be conducted between UD and CFL-UD in the upcoming time.

According to Dr. Young Kee Moe, TU was established in 1993 in Gwangju, Gyeonggi by Dr. Tong-Won Lee, who was also the rector of TU. Although TU is a relatively young university in Korea, it has been reached a lot of achievements in education among the high quality Korean universities. At present, there are more than 3,600 domestic and international students in TU including 350 Vietnamese students. TU attaches great importance into attracting international students to improve cultural and educational exchanges and accelerate the integration process, which is the foundation for the long-term development strategy of TU.

At the end of the meeting, the two sides signed the MoU on the potential cooperation. The signing of this cooperation agreement marked a significant step in the bilateral cooperation to open up the new and promising opportunity for these two parties in the co-development.
