On Monday 14th August, VNUK – UD signed an articulation agreement with Heriot Watt University! This new partnership allows students from VNUK who study International Business and Management to join Heriot Watt in one of their campuses to complete their studies for two years, after completing the first two years of university here at VNUK. There are five global campuses, in Scotland, Malaysia and Dubai. Studying at any of these campuses will result in VNUK students achieving a degree from Heriot Watt University and it is required for students to have an IELTS score of at least 6.0 before applying.

After the signing ceremony, the delegation of Heriot Watt joined Dr. Huong, Dr. Long and other VNUK-UD staff for a meeting to discuss the strategic partnership in more detail, and to also put forward proposals to be considered. The main topic of discussion was the possibility of other courses being available for VNUK - UD students to study in Heriot Watt, such as the Computer Science and Engineering and Biomedical Science majors.
VNUK-UD want to cooperate with some other reputable programs of Heriot Watt such as Tourism and Heritage Management, Logistics and Supply Chain and Hospitality Management in Malaysia and Dubai campuses where the courses are more practical.
Finally, the last proposal made by Dr. Long was for a summer course or a study exchange programme in either Malaysia or Dubai, and for Heriot Watt staff to come to VNUK-UD and train the staff here.
We are very fortunate to be working with Heriot Watt and are hoping that our students will consider taking the opportunity to attend such an established and highly regarded university.
