More opportunities to study in France for lecturers and students of the University of Danang’s campus in Kontum (UD-CK)

 

At the invitation of the Director of UD-CK during his working trip to France in September 2017, the delegation of the University of Rennes 1, including Prof.Dr. Laurent Bironneau - Institute of Business Administration (IGR-IAE Rennes) and Prof.Dr. Marc Gaugain - Director of International Cooperation visited and worked at the UD-CK on the morning of December 14th, 2017. It is known that the Institute of Business Administration (IAE-IGR Rennes) of the University of Rennes 1 is a destination for doctoral training of many lecturers of the University of Economics – the University of Danang, including Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Van My. IAE-IGR Rennes, a multi-level institution, is one of the 20 French Business Administration Institutes which is home to leading professors in the fields of Business Management. They have made great contributions to the doctoral training process for universities in our country.

The two sides exchanged and agreed on the following cooperation programs to be implemented in the coming time:

1. University of Rennes 1 will support UD-CK to develop French language teaching and to receive PhD students of the Faculty of Economics in the form of co-supervising. UD-CK is expected to send 6 -8 lecturers to France to study in the PhD program. This is a prerequisite in order to prepare for the high quality joint training programs.

2. Faculty and student exchange programs: UD-CK is planning to send 4-5 lecturers annually to the University of Rennes 1 for internships, language learning, and research methodology. At the same time, the campus will receive students from the University of Rennes 1 to do internships in the field of agriculture for 6 months to 1 year.

3. The two sides will jointly develop the ERAMUS + project supported by the European Union in training and research cooperation.

The visit of the University of Rennes 1 has brought the both sides of cooperation to further steps and has opened up new directions for future cooperation, contributing to the realization of cooperation and implementation of effective activities in the coming time.
