Improve the quality of training and innovative solutions for Higher Education Institutions - Information and Communication Technology, through international cooperation

 

Under the framework of the project Supporting Entrepreneurial Development in the field of IT in Vietnamese HEIs (ICTentr) and the Erasmus + Program, the delegation from the University of Danang (UD) including Prof. Dr. Huynh Cong Phap – Rector of College of IT, UD -  Dean of School of Information and Communication Technology, UD; Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Thanh Binh – Dean of Faculty of IT, University of Science and Technology, UD; Assoc. Prof. Tang Tan Chien – Lecturer of University of Science and Technology, UD; MA. Bui Tran Huan, Lecturer, School of Information and Communication Technology, UD visited and worked with Dublin Institute of Technology, Ireland (DIT) from March 10 to March 16, 2018.

Accordingly, UD’s delegation discussed and exchanged experiences on implementing the HEInnovate self-assessment tooland solutions to develop the potential start-ups and innovation in higher education institutions including Dublin Institute of Technology- Ireland, University of Turku - Finland, University of Leon - Spain, The University of Danang, Hanoi University of Science and Technology, and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. Representatives of each university presented the achieved resultas well as supportive activities for the initiatives and start-ups of students such as the Capstone Project and Business Development Laboratory.

At the seminars, participants also discussed and agreed to implement several programs in 2018 such as Peda Forum, International Week, and Concluding Event. In addition, UD’s delegation visited the entrepreneur incubation center of DIT with many interesting experiences and start-up ideas relating to modern technologies such as AI (Artificial Intelligence), AR (Augmented Reality), and VR (Virtual Reality). Through this successful trip, many new ideas will be implemented at UD in the near future.
