On March 26, 2018, the delegation of Babeş-Bolyai University (Universitatea Babeş - Bolyai - UBB), Romania led by Assoc. Prof. Anna Soóc - Vice Rector and Dr. Ramona Onciu - Head of Erasmus Project Office visited and worked at the University of Danang.
At the beginning of the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Ngo Van Duong - Vice President of UD gave a brief introduction and shared the outstanding achievements of UD during its construction and development.
MA. Ho Long Ngoc - Vice Director, International Cooperation Department, UD introduced the achievements of international cooperation in recent years, especially the relationship with many partners in the world such as the US, the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Korea, etc.
It is known that Babeş-Bolyai University, Romania is a public university, ranked 560th in the world, with 42,000 students and 21 training majors.
“The strengths of the University include: economics, computer science, communication, social sciences, the environment, etc. At Babeş-Bolyai University, students are given the opportunity to do scientific research. There are many Vietnamese students studying here” – said Assoc. Prof Anna Sooc.
“With the multidisciplinary training, Babeş-Bolyai University and UD can make a mutual cooperation in many areas such as exchanging lecturers and students; Organizing international seminars, etc...” - MA. Ho Long Ngoc proposed. This is also the cooperation model that UD has deployed effectively with many universities around the world.
In addition, joint programs for undergraduate and postgraduate education are also topics that the two sides can cooperate in the coming time.
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged information regarding the selection of two candidates for the short-term scholarship program at Babeş-Bolyai University within the framework of the Erasmus + KA1 program funded by the European Commission.
