Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University, Thailand visits and promotes cooperation with the University of Danang



In the afternoon of September 26, 2012, the delegation of Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University, Thailand, consists of 31 members, led by Dr. Pairat Kaewsarrn, Vice President, paid a working visit to the University of Danang (UD). The delegation was received by Assoc. Prof. Tran Van Nam, President, and Ms. Ho Long Ngoc, Vice Director of International Cooperation Department.

After introduction of two institutions, on the behalf of UD, Assoc. Prof. Tran Van Nam said: UD is the key university of  the Central Region, plays an important role in training and developing human resources for the Central Region in particular and for the country in general. Two universities have many similar majors that can be cooperated in the field of exchange students and staff. However, because of language barrier, both institutions need to pay attention to the student and staff exchange in majors that taught in English. To be more advantageous cooperation, two universities signed the MOU.

Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University is a local university with many academic and research services to serve local needs. Chaiyaphum Rajabhat University has both undergraduate and graduate programs. The schools has about 8000 students and 200 lecturers including Faculty of Science and Technology, Faculty of Business Administration, Faculty of Education, Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Law, and special projects.

The delegation thanked the warm welcome of UD. After the meeting, two sides exchanged gifts and took photos.
