Prof. Florin Duma (Babes-Bolyai University) gave a lecture on Stock Markets/ Valuing Stock for lecturers and students of University of Economics, the University of Danang



On the afternoon of April 16, Prof. Florin Sebastian Duma - Babes-Bolyai University (UBB-Romania) had an exchangefor lecturers and students of University of Economics-the University of Danang (UE-UD) on how to assess a company. Attending the meeting were Dr. Dang Huu Man - Deputy Head of Science & International Cooperation Office, Dr. Dang Tung Lam - Dean of Faculty of Finance, as well as lecturers and students of Faculty of Finance.

At the beginning of the lecture, Prof. Florin Sebastian Duma gave a brief introduction of the training scale and curriculum of UBB. UBB is the largest university in Romania with over 40,000 students. The school has a total of 21 faculties with different subjects such as Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Law, etc. 


Given his experience as a former investment analyst, Prof. Florin Sebastian Duma combined his practical knowledge as well as the theories of equity valuation to give students a comprehensive view of how to assess companies listed on the market. In addition, Prof. Florin Sebastian Duma also shared some experiences in investing in finance. The meeting was very interesting and received a lot of positive feedback from UE-UD’s lecturers and students.
