Discuss the development projects of Danang International Institute of Technology DNIIT with the University of Côte d'Azur

 

In the morning of April 24th, 2018, the delegation from University of Côte d'Azur (UCA), France and Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) which included  Prof. Stéphane Ngo Mai - Vice President in charge of Strategy and Development, University of Nice Sophia Antipolis (UNSA), UCA; Ms. Samira Karrach - Managing Director, UNSA, UCA and Prof. Sophie Goedefroit - Director of the Asia-Pacific Regional Office, AUF visited and worked with the University of Danang (UD).

Welcoming the delegation were Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Vu - Vice President of UD, MA. Ho Ngoc Ngoc - Deputy Director, International Cooperation Department, Dr. Nguyen Thi Thanh Xuan - Vice Rector of Danang International Institute of Technology (DNIIT).

Sharing with the delegation of University of Côte d'Azur, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Vu emphasized that the improvement of international cooperation is a key mission and a foundation for the development with French universities of UD. UD has established the cooperation relationship with many famous French universities such as Aix Marseille University, University of Nantes, Valenciennes University and Hainaut Cambresis ...

Through this meeting, Vice President Nguyen Ngoc Vu also hoped that UD would continue improving the long lasting cooperation with University of Côte d'Azur through several activities such as lecturers exchange, students mobility, and co-organizing scientific seminars.

Prof. Stéphane Ngo Mai shared that one of the strategic issues that UCA is focusing on is to develop a smart city, big data as well as support for startups, environment and health care activities. These are also fields that UD attaches special importance to. Therefore, the meeting focused on how to develop the above contents between UCA, AUF and UD.

According to Prof. Sophie Goedefroit, AUF has organized and provided many supportive activities for startups projects of students and innovative research ideas. Currently, AUF has decided to support Master 2 E-Tourisme training program of DNIIT in collaboration with the Ulysse Institute of Tourism, University of Nice Sophia Antipolis, France.

On this occasion, the delegation also visited and met some international students of UCA in Danang and discussed several projects with DNIIT.
