From April 01 to April 05, 2019, the delegation of the University of Danang (UD) led by Assoc. Prof. Ngo Van Duong, Vice President of UD, attended the International Week at Obuda University, Hungary (OU). In the delegation, there were also MA. Ho Long Ngoc – Vice Director of International Cooperation Department- UD, Dr. Dang Duc Long - Head of Science and International Cooperation Office, VN-UK Institute for Research and Executive Education (VNUK)-UD, and Dr. Ngo Dinh Thanh - Lecturer of Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Science and Technology-UD.
UD’s delegation joined in the International Week at OU, Hungary
The purpose of this visit is to attend the International Week according to the invitation of OU under ERASMUS KA107 program to promote the teaching exchange activities, share the university management experience and establish the collaboration relationship with Eurasian university network. On this occasion, UD had a visit and worked with OU with a lot of practical contents to improve the intensive cooperation relationship.
The International Week of OU is organized twice per year to promote the process of internationalization of higher education. UD’s delegation shared experiences in implementing lecturer and student exchange activities with European universities such as Wroclaw University of Economics - Poland; Maribor University, University of Žilina - Slovenia; University of Belgrade – Serbia, University of Babes-Bolyai Cluj-Napoca - Romania, The European University of Tirana – Albania etc

On this occasion, UD’s delegation paid a working visit to OU. Presiding over the meeting and working with UD, there were senior representatives of OU including: Prof. Imre Felde - Vice Rector (in charge of research and cooperation); Prof. Levente Kovács - Vice Rector (in charge of training); Mr. Péter Harmath - Head of International Cooperation Department, Mr. Tamás Kersánszki – Director of Innovation etc
Assoc. Prof. Ngo Van Duong – Vice President of UD gave an overview and outstanding results of training, scientific research and international cooperation of UD in recent years; as well as expressed his honor for having opportunity to visit and work with OU, Hungary. On this occasion, Vice President Ngo Van Duong proposed that the two universities would continue to promote cooperation relationship in teaching and research in fields of Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Big data, Business Management Technology ..., especially in the context of industrial revolution 4.0. Vice President Ngo Van Duong also introduced several key projects of UD such as: UD construction project, Technopole of UD at Hoa Quy-Dien Ngoc and the proposal of promoting cooperation between spearhead research teams of both universities; and expressed his desire to share experiences of innovation and university administration between the two universities.

Prof. Ngo Van Duong and UD’s delegation for attending International Week and sharing valuable experiences on training, scientific research and lecturer exchange programs. In addition, Prof. Imre Felde congratulated UD for successfully organizing the 2019 IEEE-RIVF International Conference on Computing and Communication Technologies - RIVF 2019 in which, there were 03 OU’s scientists joining in this event.

Leaders of OU acknowledged the prospective cooperation proposals of UD and the two sides agreed to continue to deepen and strengthen the key contents in the upcoming time including:
(1) Co-enhance in implementing projects under the framework of Erasmus + Program and cooperation programs between the two Vietnamese and Hungarian governments;
(2) Develop summer school programs, field trip programs between the two universities;
(3) Expand the cooperation in specialized innovation research;
(4) Continue to exchange officers and lecturers in fields of Economics, Information Technology, Environment and English teaching;
(5) Improve the establishment of joint research teams in fields that both sides have strengths and interests;
(6) Cooperate in postgraduate training, co-instructing graduate students in scientific research and international announcement in prestigious scientific journals...
UD's delegation visited the Information Technology Museum "IT Evolution"
Under the framework of the visit, UD's delegation visited the Information Technology Museum "IT Evolution" and was particularly impressed by the great collection as well as technology applications of OU’s lecturers and scientists. Obuda University was founded in 2000, located in Budapest- Capital of Hungary. Obuda University has strengths in the fields of Engineering - Technology and Economics with 06 faculties including: Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Safety Engineering; Faculty of Information; Faculty of Electrical Industry and Environmental Engineering; Faculty of Economics and Management with a scale of training of more than 13,000 students. Obuda University has extensive cooperation with 41 international organizations and more than 100 student exchange program agreements worldwide.
