More opportunities to study in the UK after a meeting with representatives from Aston University



In the last session, the VNUK Institute for Research and Executive Education – a member of the University of Danang (VNUK-UD) had the honor to welcome representatives from Aston University, UK.


Attending the meeting were Ms. Anisha Parmar, Regional Manager (South East Asia) of International Recruitment and Development, Aston University, UK. On the VNUK-UD side, there are PhD. Dang Duc Long, Head of Science & International Cooperation Department; Ms. Pham Thi Thu Thuy.


The meeting discussed plans to increase the number of transfer and exchange students between Aston University and VNUK-UD. Information from both universities will be provided to their respective students on a regular basis. Seminars to introduce Aston and Birmingham will continue in the coming months. The European Council (Eramus grant) has agreed to sponsor to promote exchange of lecturers and students between the two schools.


Ms. Anisha Parmar expressed her desire to further develop Aston’s internship program in Danang and develop an International Summer Semester with VNUK-UD.
