In the morning of October 10, 2019, higher education eccreditation y experts from the Southeast Asian University Network (AUN) ended the external evaluation session of the 162nd AUN-QA Program Assessment activity for 4 training programs of the University of Danang (UD), including English Language program of the University of Foreign Language Studies; Auditing, International Business and Marketing programs of the University of Economics.
At the Closing session, the inspectors made preliminary reports about the strengths, potentials and suggestions for improvements according to the AUN-QA standards set of the 4 training programs participating in the assessment.

Dr. Wyona C. Patalinghug - Vice Chairman of the Council of AUN-QA recommended that the leaders of the universities, schools, departments and branches of the two universities should enhance the exchange with training institutions around the world, especially in Southeast Asia to have more practical experiences for updating and developing disciplines as well as increasing the opportunity for student and faculty exchange between universities in the region. On behalf of the evaluation team AUN, Dr. Wyona C. Patalinghug thanked the leaders of the two universities, officials, lecturers, students, alumni, and employers for cooperating with the delegation for the education accreditation activities to be carried out effectively.

Speaking at the closing session, Assoc.Prof. Dr. Tran Huu Phuc - Secretary of the Party Committee, Rector of the University of Foreign Language Studies – UD recognizedthe enthusiasm, professionalism of the external evaluation experts of AUN. Comments and evaluation about the strengths and the suggestion for program curriculum’s will motivate and encourage officials and lecturers of the two universities to continue improving the quality of teaching as well as improving the quality of the program better, affirmed that it will raise the strengths and reducethe limitations to increasingly improve the quality of training programs to meet the social needs in the integration trend.
In this inspection event, there were 24 Faculty leaders in charge of the program and members of the SAR team, 80 alumni, 63 businesses, 80 lecturers, 69 support staffs, 80 students involved in all the interviews of the 162nd AUN-QA Program Assessment Team. A total of 372 participants, along with 37 members of the Organization Board and 4 professional interpreters contributed to the success of the program. On this opportunity, the Rector expressed his thanks to the lecturers, staff, students, alumni, businesses, press and media agencies for their interest, support and monitoring of this inspection activity. Leaders of the two universities hope there will be more training programs to be accredited and meet the AUN-QA standards.
