At the invitation of the NIIT Group, the mission of the University of Da Nang (UD) led by Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Van Nam – President of UD and Assoc.Prof. Dr. Vo Trung Hung, Director of Science Technology and Environment, Director of Software Development Centre (SDC) paid a working visit to NIIT Corporation, India from 02/12 to 08/12/2012.

During the time working in India, the delegation visited and worked with the main offices of NIIT. The two sides exchanged information on the development process, the achievements and the future development direction. On this occasion, the UD delegation visited and worked at NIIT Imperia, a training center for advanced programs in executive management and specialized programs in supply chain management, business management, marketing management, software development management and international financial management. NIIT Imperia has developed an online training system with a variety of integrated services to maximum support the training activities.

On 05/12/2012, the delegation paid a visit to NIIT University. This is a new university built under the Green University model on an arid hilly land to serve about 7500 students, graduate students and research students. NIIT University, with majors of information technology, electronics and telecommunications, geographic information systems, biotechnology, finance and banking, has an objective of closely linking with the business, scientific research development, technology transfer, and lifelong education.

The working visit was ended by the cooperation agreement signed by the two sides on December 7th 2012. By the agreement, a Center of Skill Development in Information Technology and Communications will be established at UD. The purpose of the Center is to deliver training programs of NIIT, especially GNIIT program following Cloud Campus model in Da Nang.
