In the afternoon of November 27, 2019, the University of Danang (UD) in collaboration with the Japanese Business Federation (Keidanren) and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (JCCI) organized scholarships for students currently studying at UD's member universities. Attending the scholarship ceremony, there were also Mr. Morita Shimpei - Member of JCCI Committee for Social Contribution and Human Resource Development; representatives of Japanese organizations and businesses; Representatives of international cooperation department, related departments of UD, office of student affairs of UD’s member universities, and students who were awarded scholarships. Mr. Masuyama Takeshi - Vice President of JCCI emphasized the meaning of giving scholarships to UD's students, expressed their appreciation for the quality of training at UD, encouraged the students to continue to excel in learning and training to become the people who contribute to Vietnam, and at the same time to show the social responsibility of the Japanese Business Federation (Keidanren) and the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (JCCI).

JCCI Vice President expressed his joy and shared that many UD students received scholarships have achieved much success in study and work. Through this, Mr. Masuyama Takeshi expressed his hope that these scholarships will be used effectively, dedicated to learning, contributed to the friendship "bridge" between the two countries Vietnam - Japan.
Also in the ceremony, Mr. Morita Shimpei - Member of JCCI Committee for Social Contribution and Human Resource Development congratulated UD's students on receiving the scholarships. Through this, he expressed his hope that in the future JCCI will continue to support the excellent students of UD, those who bear the responsibility of the country, to help young people improve knowledge, technology, and at the same time promote understanding between Vietnam and Japan.

Leaders of Keidanren & JCCI and UD award scholarships to students
On this occasion, UD's Vice President discussed with JCCI leaders to cooperate to create more opportunities for UD's students to practice in prestigious Japanese enterprises, to develop research and transfer technology, to build practical experience programs at Japanese enterprises for UD's staff, lecturers and students.
This is the 19th consecutive year, UD students receive Keidanren and JCCI scholarships. This year, there are 20 UD students receiving scholarships (each worth 300 USD) to support and motivate students to overcome difficulties, achieve outstanding achievements in study, training and research science.
