On June 12, 2020, University of Technology and Education – the University of Danang (UD-UTE) in collaboration with International Cooperation Department - UD and Full Time System Company, Japan organized the opening ceremony of Japanese language course (free of charge) for students. Attendees of the ceremony were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Phan Cao Tho, UTE’s Rector; Dr. Hoang Hai - Director of International Cooperation Department, UD, representative leaders of relevant offices, teachers and 32 enrolled students of the course.
Overview of the ceremony
Assoc.Prof. Dr. Phan Cao Tho - Rector of the University highlighted the meaning of this Japanese language course in the direction of the University to increase support and enhance foreign language skills for students to meet the domestic and international labor market needs, especially the potential labor market for employment in Japan as well as Japanese enterprises investing in Vietnam.

Assoc.Prof. Dr. Phan Cao Tho emphasized that participating in the class will bring many benefits, develop Japanese language skills and job opportunities for students in the context of globalization, especially Vietnam has been in the process of intensive integration. This course is also a demonstration of the strategy to enhance the effectiveness of cooperation between the University and businesses including Japanese partner businesses. On this occasion, Assoc. Phan Cao Tho thanked the leaders of Full Time System Company, Japan as well as the leaders of UD for their sponsorship, concern and direction with favorable conditions for UTE’s students.
Dr. Hoang Hai – Director of International Cooperation Department
At the ceremony, Dr. Hoang Hai - Director of International Cooperation Department, UD acknowledged, appreciated and thanked the University's attention and cooperation in organizing the course, creating more learning opportunities for technology students to improve their foreign language skills including Japanese to meet the business’s recruitment and employment requirement of students upon graduation. Dr. Hoang Hai introduced the outstanding information about the sponsor of the program, Full Time System Company, Japan which is also a reliable partner of UD in the past cooperation activities. It is reported that the students who have good academic results in this course will be selected by the Company to attend internship courses in the coming time.
Dr. Nguyen Linh Nam - Head of Academic Affairs Office of UTE announced the curriculum and some of the classroom's rules accordingly, students will attend the course (completely free of charge) for 02 years including extracurricular activities and Japanese practices which will help students to improve not only Japanese ability but also the social and cultural understanding. Students who complete the Japanese language course (N3) will be prioritized by the Full Time System to sponsor internships as well as be introduced to other Japanese businesses for recruitment after graduation.
