University of Danang collaborated with the Francophone Universities Association to organize a training course on proposal writing for international projects



On July 14, the University of Danang (UD) in collaboration with the Francophone Universities Association (AUF) organized a training course on proposal writing and applying for international projects for nearly 60 participants who are responsible for international cooperation or finance – planning at the UD’s centers and member units.


Overview of the training course.


The course drew the participation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son – Vice President of the UD, rapporteur Mrs. Hélène Dejoux – Deputy Director of the AUF in Asia – Pacific region, Ms. Nguyen Thuy Huyen – Project Manager of the AUF’s Asia – Pacific Regional Office, leader representatives of the Administration Department and functional departments, offices, centers (International Cooperation Department, Quality Assurance Department, Communication & Learning Information Resource Center, etc.)

In his opening remarks, the UD’s Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son appreciated the role of the AUF in general and its Asia – Pacific Regional Office in particular in an effort to constantly connect and cooperate among member universities network in which the UD is a reliable and traditional partner with positive contribution to promote cooperation and integration in the fields of education and science.

On this occasion, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son expressed his thanks to the AUF leaders and Mrs. Hélène Dejoux for collaborating with the UD to organize the training course, thereby creating opportunities to share experience and skills in project application including identifying goals and work packages, implementation proposals and project’s expected results which are important and urgent tasks in the context of international integration and globalization.

At the training course, Mrs. Hélène Dejoux introduced the overview and general principles of application for projects, especially writing skills and proposals for the European Union’s projects. With practical experience and vivid training method, Mrs. Dejoux shared useful experience to achieve successful results when applying for projects in general, AUF-sponsored projects in particular. Participants discussed energetically and posed problems and shortcomings in practice which were clarified and answered by the expert.

As part of the training, the AUF representative also introduced the lastest information of AUF regarding projects’ call for application.
