On the morning of July 14, 2020, the delegation of the Central Theoretical Council (CTC) led by Prof. Dr. Ta Ngoc Tan, Vice Chairman of CTC, worked with the University of Danang (UD) on developing and completing the Political Science Research Program (PSRP) for the period of 2021-2025.
At the delegation, there were also Assoc. Prof. Tran Quoc Toan - Member of CTC and a lot of members relating to the Program. On the side of UD, there were Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Vu - Member of Da Nang’s Party Executive Committee cum Secretary of the Party Committee cum UD’s President; Rectors of UD’s member universities; Heads of UD’s affiliated units; Leaders of Administration Office, Party Committee Office, functional offices and senior representatives of PSRP Divisions of University of Economics-UD.

Prof. Dr. Ta Ngoc Tan, Vice Chairman of CTC presented that the purpose of this meeting was to explore and discuss to clarify a number of theoretical and practical issues in developing and completing the Program.
In particularly, Vice Chairman Ta Ngoc Tan emphasized that the significance of the Program was to provide scientific and practical basis for building the Party's guidelines and State’s policies in the new period, especially developing and completing the official documents of the Party Congress.
In addition, Prof. Dr. Ta Ngoc Tan also gave an overview of the Program, thereby suggesting UD’s scientists and senior leaders to give comments on the content of the proposal draft from the perspective and practical experience of UD associated with the domestic and foreign situation and the context.

At the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Ngoc Vu - Member of Da Nang’s Party Executive Committee cum Secretary of the Party Committee cum UD’s President introduced the outstanding features of UD. It is known that UD is a regional, multidisciplinary university with 06 member universities, providing human resources to meet the demand of regional and national socio-economic development. UD always continuously improves the quality of training and scientific research as two main pillars for achieving sustainable development and international standards.

President Nguyen Ngoc Vu highly appreciated the program and gave special thanks to the CTC’s delegation for visiting and working with UD. President Nguyen Ngoc Vu also affirmed that this was a valuable opportunity for UD to receive ideas and experiences to constantly improve the quality of training and scientific research in the field of Political Theory.
After listening to the ideas and proposals of UD's leaders and scientists for the Program and related contents, Prof. Dr. Ta Ngoc Tan acknowledged and gave special thanks for the comments of UD, considering this was a reference basis for CTC to discuss in the process of summarizing and completing the Program.
