The University of Danang (UD) has announced a strategic partnership with the UK-based Aston University and Rolls-Royce Company. This collaborative model confirms the role of businesses in ensuring that graduates will meet the needs of employers
Aston University and Rolls-Royce Company will support UD in understanding the talent management mechanism, the skills employers look for, and experience and expertise relevant to the needs of businesses. Both foreign partners have expressed willingness to use the existing partnerships, especially the relationship with the British Business Group Vietnam (BBGV) to encourage more businesses to cooperate.
This strategic partnership is formed from the British Council’s initiative to increase the participation of recruiting enterprises in construction of university level training programs. UD and Aston University play the leadership role in implementing the initiative. Currently, the project is seeking companies willing to participate and provide internship programs for students as well as practical projects to encourage student participation.
UD and Aston University have recently received a grant for leadership initiative and innovative business from the British Council, The Foreign and Commonwealth Office and Rolls-Royce. Currently, UD and Aston University is preparing to launch the Business Leadership Center at UD in October with the support of Rolls-Royce Company./.
