The University of Danang promotes internationalization of higher education through the Erasmus+ HARMONY project


On March 25, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son - Vice President of the University of Danang (UD) represented the university to attend the virtual consortium meeting with representatives from other partner universities and research institutes which are members of the Erasmus+ HARMONY project.

The leaders and officials of the Department of International Cooperation - the UD also joined the meeting.

The UD's Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son and leaders, officials of the ICD-UD joined the meeting.

HARMONY is an international project which is being implemented within the framework of the European Union's strategy of connecting Europe and Asia. It involves the participation of a number of universities and research institutes in Europe and Asia, namely: University of Zaragoza (Spain), European Policy Development and Research Institute (Slovenia), Varna University of Management (Bulgaria), Mykolas Romeris University (Lithuania), Daffodil International University (Bangladesh), University of Liberal Arts (Bangladesh), the University of Danang (Vietnam), Quang Binh University (Vietnam), Vellore Institute of Technology (India), Narsee Morjee Institute of Management Studies (India), University of Hyderabad (India).

At the meeting, the representatives from the project's members revised the draft operational plan, exchanged ideas and solutions to build a more feasible and effective plan.

In its development strategy, the UD has always attached great importance to, expanded and nurtured international partnerships in which European universities, institutes and businesses are major, long-term and effective partners.

The UD has participated and implemented many international projects including large and prestigious EU-funded projects of which the Eramus+ HARMONY project has an important meaning in the strategy of internationalization of higher education to improve training quality, scientific research and innovation.

Through this project, the UD aims to continue connecting and cooperating with partners to complete the strategy and policy for higher education development in the globalization context; looking for partners and mobilizing resources to deploy international joint training programs and lecturers/students exchange; promoting cooperation to solve urgent problems at regional and global scales.
