The University of Danang’s leader received the Interim Director of French Institute in Danang


On November 10, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son – Vice President of the University of Danang (UD), hosted the meeting with Mr. Samuel Delameziere, Interim Director of the French Institute in Danang (FID) under the French Embassy in Vietnam.

Also attending the meeting were Ms. Mai Thi Nhi, administrative official of the FID, Mr. Nguyen Ba Nam – administrative official of CampusFrance in Vietnam, and leader representatives of the Department of International Cooperation – the UD.

At the meeting, the two sides exchanged orientations and potentials of cooperation in the fields of education and training, language and culture exchange, and study opportunities in France.

The FID highly appreciated and affirmed the desire to continue developing cooperation and support for the UD to train staff members, students and organize French language certification exams.

Mr. Samuel Delameziere shared with the UD’s leader about the implementation of cooperation between University of Technology and Education – UD and INSA (Institut National des Sciences Appliquees) since 9/2018 so far, and asked the UD’s leader to create favorable conditions to continue developing cooperation among French partners and the UD generally, the UD’s member universities particularly.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son acknowledged and highly appreciated the meaningful activities and traditional cooperative friendship between the UD with the FID as well as French partners.

The UD’s Vice President expressed his wish that the FID and the French Embassy in Vietnam would continue to support the UD in promoting cooperation of education and training, recommending French scientists and experts to participate in teaching, research and cultural exchange at the UD.
