The University of Danang held the Honorary Professorship Conferment Ceremony for Prof. Dr. Le Thanh Nhan
Recently, Prof. Dr. Le Thanh Nhan, Director of the Danang International Institute of Technology (DNIIT) under the University of Danang (UD), was awarded the title of Honorary Professor by the UD.

This was the recognition for Prof. Dr. Le Thanh Nhan’s commitments and devotion to the progress of the UD and the Vietnam - France cooperation in aspects of education- training and science - technology as a whole.
The title conferment was a part of the 38th anniversary celebration program of the Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (20th November). The ceremony drew the attendance of Danang Party Committee’s Deputy Secretary cum Municipal People's Committee Vice Chairman Le Trung Chinh and President of the UD Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu; the UD’s Board of President, leader representatives from member universities and affiliated units, lecturers and students.

This is the 6th time that the UD has conferred the title Honorary Professor to prestigious dedicated international scientists, experts; which affirms the respect and honor of noble values, dedication to the cause of education – training, science and technology, effective contribution to the community, at the same time confirms the prestige of the UD in the process of international integration.
Prof. Dr. Le Thanh Nhan
Prof. Dr. Le Thanh Nhan has involved in teaching and scientific research activities at the University of Nice Sophia Antipolis (UNS) which was merged into the University of Côte d'Azur (UCA).
The dedicated professor has made the great contributions to leveraging bilateral ties between the UD and UNS since 1996 till date.
Over the past years, the two universities have jointly held such remarkable events such as international RUNSUD Conference, the Smart Campus Campaign and Super-Computing Camp.
In particular, Prof. Dr. Le Thanh Nhan presided over the establishment a network with LoRa (short for long range) technology in association with such services as analysis, design, simulation and management for the sake of “smarter” teaching-learning methods.
