Indicator 3.3.1: Current collaborations with health institutions
UD always actively promotes cooperation with partners at all levels from local, national to global to bring an integrated, healthy environment, fully equipped with knowledge and skills to help students protect themselves as well as provide health benefits for all learners and the community. Our collaborative activities are centered around four core pillars: collaborating with universities, research institutes, hospitals, and pharmacies to conduct health science research; managing, sharing, and collaborating on important resources such as physical resources, staff, lecturers, and students; engaging in community outreach and service to promote and protect health; and utilizing collaboration in teaching to ensure a strong pool of skilled professionals and provide practical practice opportunities for all learners.
***** Collaborations with local health institutions
The School of Medicine and Pharmacy at UD has established partnerships with several hospitals in Danang, including DANANG HOSPITAL, HOSPITAL 199, and DA NANG HOSPITAL FOR WOMEN AND CHILDREN. These collaborations focus on four main areas: training, science and technology, international cooperation, and resource development for the community.
In terms of training, the two sides work together to enhance the professional qualifications and skills of their staff according to international standards. This is a crucial aspect of improving the quality of healthcare in the region.
In the field of science and technology, the partners collaborate on developing proposals and implementing domestic, international scientific and technological tasks. This allows for the exchange of knowledge and expertise, leading to advancements in the medical field.
The partnership also extends to international cooperation, with both sides participating and coordinating in organizing international conferences and seminars. This allows for the sharing of ideas and best practices with a global audience.
Finally, the collaboration also focuses on connecting resource development and serving the community. This includes joint efforts in building and developing staff, utilizing facilities and equipment, and exchanging information and scientific documents.
