In the early days of the new year, there are a lot of activities to develop the international partnership and enterprises collaboration in response to the UD’s key theme 2023 which have been taken place throughout UD’s members universities and affiliated units; bringing the excited and cohesive environment for the sustainable development goal.

Rector of UD-University of Science and Technology (UD-DUT) and Rector of Université Le Havre Normandie (ISEP) signed the MoU

UD-DUT had just signed a MOU with ISEP, France. Attending the ceremony were Prof. Pedro Lages Dos Santos-Rector of ISEP; Ms. Caroline Leclercq-Deputy Mayor of Le Havre city; Mr. Didier Mercey-Chairman of Logi-VietFrance Company; Mr. Hervé Cornede-Chairman of SOGET Company; Mr. Mai Quang - Chairman of AsiaTrans Company and senior representatives of offices and faculties of UD-DUT.

Cooperating to develop

training programs in the fields of Seaports,

Shipbuilding, Renewable Energy and Logistics

At the ceremony, leaders of the two universities signed a cooperation agreement in training and scientific research, focusing on training high-quality human resources, developing training programs in the field of Seaports, Shipbuilding, Renewable Energy and Logistics which are strengths of ISEP. In addition, localities in the central coastal region, especially Da Nang city as well as Le Havre city, have high demand in human resources in these fields.

According to a representative of UD-DUT, UD-DUT expected to open a new training major in Logistics to meet social needs in the context that many Logistics enterprises are "thirsty" for high-quality human resources.

Witnessing the signing ceremony between the two universities, enterprises expressed their pleasure and shared that they would continue to support to grant scholarships for students. In the past years, The Logi-VietFrance and La Soget company collaborated with Faculty of Advanced Science and Technology of UD-DUT to send students to do internships and receive salaries in France, as well as recruited human resources trained by UD-DUT.

UD-University of Science and Education (UD-UED) welcomed and worked

with National Taiwan Normal University (NTNU-China)

UD-UED welcomed and worked with the delegation of NTNU led by Prof. Frank Yung-Hsiang YING-Vice Director. According to Dr. Bui Bich Hanh-Vice Rector of UD-UED, UD-UED hoped to cooperate with NTNU to promote the lecturer and student exchange programs; co-participate in joint research projects as well as co-organize academic events, international conferences.

UD-UED had deployed the accreditation procedure for training programs according to domestic and international standards (AUN-QA) in order to internationalize higher education according to the development trend of digital higher education and digital transformation. On this occasion, the two sides would cooperate to develop Master programs in the direction of E-learning or B-learning.

In university-enterprises cooperation activities, UD-VNUK also signed a cooperation agreement with Chiic World Vietnam Company (Chiic Digital). This is a consulting company providing e-commerce service solutions and technical marketing (integrated marketing communication, production and design, brand consulting, OT management, e-commerce, developing websites for high-end brands of restaurants, hotels and tourism).
