University Mobillity in Asia and the Pacific |
UMAP is the acronym for the “University Mobility in Asia and the Pacific”. Founded in 1991, it is a voluntary association of government and non-government representatives of the higher education (university) sector. The general aim of UMAP is for each of the countries and territories in the Asia- Pacific region to achieve a better understanding of the cultural, economic and social systems of the other countries and territories in the region through enhanced cooperation among higher education institutions and increased mobility of university students and staff. |

Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) (Francophone University Association) |
UD has been being an active member of AUF since 1995. AUF has always paid much attention and practical support to UD in Francophone training project (undergraduate); other majors in Petrochemical Engineering, Information Technology; Doctoral training and the CAI-CNF project (since 1998). AUF has also been offering a lot of scholarships to UD’s lecturers and students. More than 100 graduates from French-speaking faculty of Chemistry and more than 20 IT students were received AUF’s scholarships for studying Master and PhD programs. |

CONFRASIE (Regional Conference of Rectors if universities of AUF) |
UD has been member of the CONFRASIE network - Regional Conference of Rectors of the Member Universities of the AUF in Asia Pacific region, was established in 1999 with the plenary meeting held every two years. This is a forum to gather leaders of higher education and research institutions from Asian and Pacific countries to exchange and discuss common issues of higher education. CONFRASIE plays an important role in identifying and promoting the potential of the professional network of members, as well as building strategic development orientations and cooperation on higher education and research. In recent years, the Conference has always been accompanied by member universities to implement university management innovation activities with the advice of experts in the AUF network. |

The ASEAN European Academic University Network (ASEA-UNINET) is a network of universities, consisting of European and South-East Asian universities with the goal of promoting the continuous internationalization of education and research. ASEA-UNINET was founded in 1994 by universities from Austria, Indonesia, Thailand and Vietnam as Austrian-South-East Asian University Network and consists today of more than 80 universities from 18 different countries. |
