The Livestream Program of the regular Online Admissions Counseling of the University of Danang (UD) 2023 was successfully held, meeting the demand for complete information, advice and solutions, answering carefully, bringing confidence and reassurance for high school students and their parents.

This year's program had the presence of a large number of lecturers and representatives of UD: Assoc.Prof.Dr. Le Thanh Bac - Vice President of UD, Dr. Nguyen Duc Quan – Vice Director of the UD's Department of Academic Affairs and the lecturers in the Advisory Board gathered experienced and dedicated experts in the recruitment and career counseling of 09 member training institutions for the enrollment in 2023 of UD, including: UD-University of Science and Technology, UD-University of Economics, UD-University of Science and Education, UD-University of Foreign Language Studies, UD-University of Technology and Education, UD-Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology, UD-Campus in Kontum, UD-VNUK Institute for Research and Executive Education and UD-School of Medicine and Pharmacy.

The program was livestreamed, interactive, and answered questions online, attracting thousands of students from high schools and parents, thereby providing the latest and complete information, timely and accurate about many necessary contents that candidates are interested in, such as: Methods of admissions; New points on enrollment-2023; Admissions criteria; Information about newly opened training disciplines; Information about majors, job opportunities; Scholarship opportunities and preferential policies for candidates, new students and students of UD, etc.

This was also an opportunity to meet, interact, exchange and thoroughly answer the questions and aspirations that students and parents were interested in before the exam season and the important entrance exam to the university in 2023 so that they could prepare carefully.

The program has received the support and close cooperation from  high schools in Da Nang city as well as the Central Highlands region and the whole country through effective communication and promotion channels.

Vice President of UD Le Thanh Bac gave an overview and highlights about UD as a national key regional university with a tradition of nearly 50 years of training high-quality, prestigious human resources, international reputation, ranked in the top of Vietnamese universities, ranked 3rd in the country with 34 accredited training programs, meeting international standards (CTI, AUN-QA). The member universities of UD are all pioneers in accrediting and achieving national educational quality standards (since 2016), of which UD-UD has achieved international quality standards (European HCERES, from 2017 to now).

According to Dr. Nguyen Duc Quan, Vice Director of UD’s Department of Academic Affairs, in 2023, UD plans to enroll 146 majors and training programs in 16 fields with a total expected target of 15,380, of which: UD-University of Science and Technology: 3,580; UD-University of Economics: 3,200; UD-University of Science and Education: 2,850; UD-University of Foreign Language Studies: 1,830; UD - University of Technology and Education: 1,500; UD-Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology: 1500; UD-Campus in Kontum: 260; UD-VNUK Institute for Research and Executive Education: 360 and UD-School of Medicine and Pharmacy: 300 targets.

UD keeps the same admissions methods as last year to create favorable conditions and avoid disturbance to bring reassurance to candidates and parents with 04 main enrollment methods including:

(1) Considering high school graduation exam scores;

(2) Reviewing high school transcripts;

(3) Considering the private entrance examination;

(4) Considering test scores for competency  assessment examination.

At the Program, the lecturers in the Admission Advisory Board of UD in turn introduced updated points, necessary information, highlights the enrollment in 2023 of each university and satisfactorily answered, full and detailed interactive questions directly via hotline, facebook, email of students and parents.

The content that students were interested in is mainly learning about admission methods, enrollment criteria, matriculation opportunities and future job opportunities of the training disciplines that each of student is interested in and wishes to register, along with conditions for study/ practice, internship, tuition fees, scholarships as well as support policies, companionship with students, etc.

A comfortable, friendly academic environment that inspires learning and creativity for students

Over the years, UD has constantly focused on improving training quality, applying many advanced and active teaching-learning methods; investing in modern and synchronous facilities and equipment; opening a number of new necessary training disciplines to meet social needs and high-quality human resources such as:

- Specialized training program "Digital Marketing" taught entirely in English by UD-University of Economics.

- Major in Artificial Intelligence by UD-Vietnam-Korea University of Information and Communication Technology.

- Major in Nanotechnology, in Materials Technology by UD-VNUK Institute for Research and Executive Education.

- Major in Medical Laboratory Technology by UD-School of Medicine and Pharmacy.

- Major in Chemical Engineering Technology, in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence by UD- University of Technology and Education.

Pioneering in opening new training disciplines to meet the needs of learners and society

UD as well as its member training institutions continue to implement many preferential policies, tuition fee exemption/ reduction, mobilizing many practical scholarships to support students/ new students, sharing and accompanying with learners.
