President of The University of Danang welcomed and worked with international startup experts

On January 13, 2026, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu - President of the University of Da Nang (UD) - chaired a meeting with international startup experts: Ms. Colina Q Tran - Founder and CEO of Colina Dreamcatcher Entertainment & Media, Ms. Kathy Nguyen - Founder and CEO of EPIC Team AI.

During the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu – President of UD welcomed and greeted the startup experts and founders of corporations visiting and working with UD.
Introducing the UD to partners as one of the three leading centers for training, scientific research, and innovation in the country, President of UD stated that the university currently has over 65,000 students across 6 member universities and 3 affiliated training units; the percentage of lecturers with doctoral degrees or higher is high.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyễn Ngọc Vũ highlighted UD’s recent progress and its designation by the Central Steering Committee for Science, Technology, Innovation and Digital Transformation as one of four universities prioritized for investment to serve as models for national higher education (Conclusion Notice No. 45).
To strive towards achieving its major goals and objectives in its development strategy, UD always prioritizes strengthening university-business cooperation to create momentum and breakthroughs in the development of training, science, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship, serving the socio-economic development of the region and the country.

In a meeting with UD leaders, Ms. Colina Q Tran - Founder and CEO of Colina Dreamcatcher Entertainment & Media expressed her honor to visit and work with UD.
As one of the experts in entrepreneurship with many years of experience in operating and connecting startups with the market, Ms. Colina Q Tran shared her strengths in business operations and her desire to strengthen connections between all parties (Businesses – Market – Customers – Suppliers) to collaborate in innovation, thereby contributing to the transfer and application of research results and products, meeting supply and demand to serve the community.

During the meeting, the participating delegates shared information, explored and clarified needs and strengths to guide the development of cooperation potential in training, human resource development, and promoting innovation, fostering an entrepreneurial ecosystem on campus.
In an open and understanding atmosphere, the parties shared common concerns and agreed on directions to promote cooperation, with businesses ready to support entrepreneurial and innovative activities among students.
The leaders of UD and experts agreed to jointly organize workshops to share experiences in innovation in the coming time for the goal of sustainable development.
