The MoU Signing Ceremony between the University of Danang and University Studies Abroad Consortium-USAC

On the afternoon of December 13, 2022, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son-Vice President of the University of Danang (UD) and Dr. Alyssa Nota, President and CEO of University Studies Abroad Consortium (USAC) co-chaired the MOU signing ceremony between UD and USAC.

Attending the meeting there were also Mr. Gregory Stephany- Executive Director of International Program, University of Nevada, USA; MS. Ms. Chaidarun Tippawan, Resident Director, Higher education strategic planning and study abroad management; senior representatives of UD’s relevant Departments (Academic affairs, Science, Technology and Environment, International Cooperation, Student affairs).

The MOU between UD and USAC aimed to promote connections and implement academic and cultural exchange programs, contributing to enhance understanding and cooperation in various fields of education and research towards mutual benefits of both sides.

According to the MoU, UD and USAC would strive to realize the following
1. Develop cultural exchange opportunities
2. Promote academic and educational exchanges.
3. Exchange lecturers, administrative staff, and students.
4. Support reciprocal visits by professors and researchers.
5. Promote collaboration of research activities of academic staff and students.
6. Implement joint undergraduate, graduate, and internship programs.
7. Seek grants for joint projects, co-apply for projects.
8.Cooperate to organize symposiums, workshops and conferences.
9. Exchange publications and educational/research materials.
