According to the latest announcement of Quacquarelli Symonds Educational Organization - United Kingdom, the University of Danang (UD) has risen in the top 401-450 of Asian best universities, out of 13,578 Asian universities and institutions in the QS Asia University Rankings 2020 (QS Asia 2020). (UD ranked in the top 451-500 Asian best universities in 2018-2019)

UD increased its ranking in the top 401-450 Asian best universities according to QS Asia 2020

 Specifically, according to the newly released ranking, Vietnamese National University- Ho Chi Minh city was ranked at no. 143 in Asia and no.1 among Vietnamese education institutions. Vietnamese National University, Hanoi ranked at no. 147. Vietnamese universities named in QS Asia 2020 were: Ton Duc Thang University; Hanoi University of Science and Technology; Can Tho University; The University of Danang; Duy Tan University and Hue University.

QS Asia 2020 ranked universities according to 11 indexes including: Academic reputation; the prestige of quality of graduates towards employers; the ratio of lecturers/ students, the international research network, citation of each published research paper of students and lecturers, etc. Several other indicators include: Lecturers having Ph.D degree, the percentage of international lecturers and international students, and the proportion of students exchange nationally and internationally.
