On the morning of December 22, the University of Danang organized a seminar on "Using Innovative methods to attract international students in the global trend of internationalization  of higher education" and "a Meeting with International Students of the University of Danang” to welcome the new year 2024.

This was a series of events supported and accompanied by Agence universitaire de la Francophonie (AUF) to provide opportunities for international students and trainees to strengthen connection and exchange of languages ​​and cultures; attract more and more international students to study and do research at UD; affirm the international reputation of a leading scientific research and training center in Vietnam, pioneering integration with higher education in the region and the world.

At the seminar, Vice President Le Quang Son said that training international students was considered as one of the strategic contents that not only brought value to learners, connected and exchanged academic development but also contributed to improving the quality of reputation, creating an environment for internationalization of higher education, positively contributing to cohesive relationships and sustainable cooperation in the context of deep integration of Vietnam with the world.

UD is an attractive "destination", attracting international students from 20 countries to study and do research

UD is a "destination" attracting more than 700 students from 20 countries around the world (Laos, China, Cambodia, Myanmar, Malaysia, Korea, United States, Japan, Russia, England, France, Australia, Hungary, Germany, Sweden, Lithuania, Nigeria...) of which Laotian students account for 70%.

UD’s member universities and affiliated units always focus on promoting international cooperation with many partners. There are increased training programs delivered in English as well as more Vietnamese language training for international students.
