There was a ceremony took place at The University of Danang - University of Science and Education (UD-UED) in order to announce the Decision and award the Certificates of educational quality accreditation for 13 full time undergraduate training programs including 03 training programs that meet international standards (AUN-QA Southeast Asia) and 10 training programs that meet national quality standards.

Attending the event were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu - Member of the city Party Committee & Secretary of the Party Committee & President of The University of Danang (UD); Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien - Director of the Center for Education Accreditation - Vietnam National University, Hanoi; Dr. Tran Dinh Quang - Director of the Center for Education Accreditation at Vinh University; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Luu Trang - Secretary of the Party Committee & Rector of UD-UED; Representatives of leaders from the Office of Administrative Affairs and relevant departments of UD; leaders in the Board of Rectors and Council of UD-UED and representatives of departments, faculties, centers along with staff, lecturers and students/trainees of UD-UED.

In the presence of leaders at all levels and related parties, representatives of faculties and departments were honored to receive the Certificates of having accredited training programs, meeting domestic and international quality standards, including:

03 training programs meeting AUN-QA international standards include: Mathematics Education, Literature Education and Chemistry Education;

10 training programs that meet national standards include: Music Education, Geography Education, Social Work, Preschool Education (assessed by Center for Education Accreditation - Vietnam National University, Hanoi); Biotechnology, Information Technology, Psychology, Political Education, Primary Education, History Education (assessed by Center for Education Accreditation - Vinh University).

According to Assoc.Prof.Dr. Luu Trang - Secretary of the Party Committee & Rector of UD-UED, said that UD-UED is one of UD’s member universities and is always a pioneer in quality assurance and education accreditation of quality (the first university in the country to accredit the quality of educational institutions that meeting national standards since April 2016, and continuing to accredit and meet standards in the second cycle of 2022).

The results of the accreditation and recommendations of experts are both the motivation and pride of lecturers and students of faculties, departments and subjects whose training programs are recognized to meet domestic and foreign standards, as well as the basis for UD-UED to work together with stakeholders in order to compare and refer to constantly improve, especially in innovative thinking in teaching-learning and scientific research, aiming to meet social and learner needs, changes and trends of knowledge development in the context of innovation and integration with higher education 4.0.

Dr. Ta Thi Thu Hien, Director of Center for Education Accreditation of Vietnam National University-Hanoi, shared and highly appreciated UD-UED for being in the top 3 universities of education in the country with the ratio of the number of training programs accredited and meeting the highest quality standards domestically and internationally.

Dr. Tran Dinh Quang - Director of the Center for Education Accreditation of Vinh University emphasized that the results of the accreditation of UD-UED’s training programs demonstrated the efforts of the collective of staff, lecturers and students along with the companionship and support of relevant parties, agencies, partners.
