The virtual MoU signing ceremony between the University of Danang and Munster Technological University, Ireland

 

 

Recently, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son - Vice President of the University of Danang (UD) and Mr. Michael Loftus - Vice President of External Affairs of Munster Technological University, Ireland (MTU) co-chaired the MoU signing ceremony between UD and MTU.

Attending the virtual ceremony, there were also Mr. George Bulman - Rubicon Centre Operations Manager; Dr. Helen Mc Guirk Head, Hincks Centre for Entrepreneurship Excellence; Ms. Carmel Jordan Head of International Office, MTU; Ms. Nicola Griffin External Affairs Administrator; and leaders of UD’s relevant departments (International Cooperation; Science, Technology and Environment and Student Affairs).

Speaking at the ceremony, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son – UD’s Vice President gave an overview of the outstanding features of UD - a national key university, multi-disciplinary with 06 member universities and affiliated units…

 “The signed MoU would be a milestone to promote the cooperation relationship as well as bring mutual benefits basing on potentials and strengths of each university” said Vice President Le Quang Son.

MTU is a prestigious regional university of Ireland including 06 campuses in Cork and Kerry. MTU specializes in training and doing research in the fields of Technology, Economics, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship...

Vice President Michael Loftus expressed his pleasure when joining the MoU signing ceremony between the two universities. This would be a first step to continue developing the cooperation relationship between the two sides.

According to the content-oriented cooperation, the two sides will promote academic exchanges in the fields of education and research; improve the staff, lecturers and students exchange programs; develop joint postgraduate training programs and joint research cooperation; participate in international projects; coordinate in organizing scientific conferences and seminars; exchange and share publications, documents, information…

The leaders of the two universities assigned the relevant units to continue researching and concretizing orientations and cooperation contents to implement activities in the upcoming time.
