Cooperation to provide students with foreign languages training and assessment to meet output standard and international integration

Recently, a cooperation agreement aiming at improvement of foreign languages training testing and assessment to meet output standard and international integration was signed between University of Technology and Education - the University of Da Nang (UTE - UD) and University of Foreign Language Studies ​​– the University of Danang (UFLS-UD)

Overview of the meeting

Attending the signing session were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Phan Cao Tho - Rector of University of UTE - UD, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Tran Huu Phuc - Rector of UFLS-UD and leader representatives in the Rector Board, offices and faculties of the two universities.

At the meeting, the two sides discussed and evaluated the implementation of English teaching for students, proposed solutions to improve the quality of teaching and learning and reviewed foreign language modules to meet the output standard and recruitment needs of businesses.

Rectors of the two universities  

According to the agreement, the two sides would coordinate: (1) To organize entrance examination and teaching, evaluate the results of foreign language modules in the training program of UTE-UD; (2) To assess foreign language output standard for students; (3) To support and prepare students to reach entry level and test for foreign language output standard; (4) To advise students on learning methods, pathways and exams to meet output standard and foreign language certificates (national/international level).

Rectors of the two universities  

The cooperation of two member universities of UD in foreign language training with the aim of strengthening and developing the capacity and soft skills ofr students would contribute to improving the quality of training, equipping students with necessary foreign language skills in the context of integration and competition in the domestic and international labor market.
