The University of Danang virtually signed the MOU with the Politecnico di Milano (Italy)

Recently, the University of Danang (UD) has virtually signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the prestigious Politecnico di Milano - PoliMi (Italy), which drew the attendance of the UD’s Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son and the PoliMi’s Rector’s Delegate for International Affairs Prof. Stefano Ronchi.

Speaking at the event, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son expressed his pleasure and appreciated the significance of the cooperation between the UD and the PoliMi, especially in the areas that the two universities have common interests and strengths such as science, technology, architecture, etc.

The UD’s Vice President believed that the agreement would bring about many opportunities to promote the bilateral cooperation as the UD has already had good experience in cooperation with European universities.

On behalf of the PoliMi, Prof. Stefano Ronchi attached the importance to fostering the cooperative relations with the UD which is considered as one of reliable partners that has fruitful exchange with European universities.

In the context of the complicated ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, Prof. Stefano Ronchi expressed his wish that the two sides would implement joint activities which contribute to advancing the common interests of the two universities as well as serving the community.

The signed MOU opened up new opportunities for the two sides.

According to the recently-signed cooperation agreement, the two sides will promote the cooperation in priority directions as follows: (1) Academic and education exchange; (2) Lecturers and students exchange; (3) Joint research cooperation; (4) Joint undergraduate, postgraduate and internship programs; (5) Co-search for international projects’ grants (e.g Erasmus); (6) Scientific conferences and seminars organization; (7) Publications and research materials exchange.
