On November 18, 2025, University of Science and Education (UED) - The University of Danang (UD) held the Closing Ceremony for the training course on professional skills for developing teaching and learning curricula in Natural Sciences and Social Sciences subjects at the high education level, designed for teachers and students from the Laos.

According to Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Hieu, Vice Rector of UD-UED, this is a short-term training course for Lao trainees under the Agreement Scholarship Program between the Governments of Vietnam and Laos.

Congratulating the participants on successfully completing the training course, the University's leadership representative expressed sincere thanks for the support and companionship of the related units and individuals. He highly appreciated the serious and proactive learning attitude of the trainees, expressing hope that the knowledge and specialized modules provided will bring many valuable benefits for the participants to further develop their professional expertise in the future.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Khanthaly Khamphilavong, First Secretary of the Education and Culture Office, Consulate General of Laos in Danang, this is not only an opportunity to gain professional knowledge and skills but also contributes to strengthening cultural and educational exchanges, fostering the special and close-knit friendship between Vietnam and Laos.

Highly appreciating the prestige and academic effectiveness of UD-UED in training Lao students over the years, the representative of the Consulate General of Laos in Da Nang expressed hope that the students would promote and apply their knowledge and skills to their practical studies and work, contributing to improving the quality of general education, establishing a foundation, and improving the input for university-level education within the framework of Vietnam-Laos educational cooperation.

At the Ceremony, the University awarded Certificates of Completion to 20 Lao students and Certificates to the lecturers who participated in teaching the Program.

The training course was implemented over 3 months (starting from the beginning of the 2025-2026 academic year) with key contents focused on enhancing the capacity for designing teaching programs and organizing teaching methods for Natural Sciences and Social Sciences subjects, aligned with the orientation of the New General Education Program.
