10 highlights and outstanding events of the University of Danang in 2020


In 2020, the University of Danang (UD) overcame challenges and difficulties caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and natural disasters, brought into play the tradition of solidarity, wisdom and enthusiasm of all staff, lecturers and students, achieved outstanding and comprehensive results in all fields.


The University of Danang’s President received leaders of the AUF and the OIF


On December 16, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Ngoc Vu – President of the University of Danang (UD), hosted the meeting with Prof. Jean-Marc Lavest (Director of the Asia – Pacific Region, Francophonie University Association – AUF) and Mr. Chékou Oussouman (Director of the Asia – Pacific Region, International Organization of La Francophonie – OIF) on the occasion of their visit to the UD to grant support packages for students who are bearing financial difficulties due to recent natural disasters.


The University of Danang held the Honorary Professorship Conferment Ceremony for Prof. Dr. Le Thanh Nhan


Recently, Prof. Dr. Le Thanh Nhan, Director of the Danang International Institute of Technology (DNIIT) under the University of Danang (UD), was awarded the title of Honorary Professor by the UD.


The University of Danang’s students won the champion of the English Contest for students – Star Awards 2020


On November 8, the University of Danang (UD) hosted the final of the National English Contest for students “Star Awards 2020” which was organized by the UD’s Youth Union in collaboration with Youth Unions of Vietnam national universities, regional universities, key universities and the companionship of Wilmar CLV Group.


The University of Danang virtually signed the MOU with the Politecnico di Milano (Italy)


Recently, the University of Danang (UD) has virtually signed the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the prestigious Politecnico di Milano - PoliMi (Italy), which drew the attendance of the UD’s Vice President Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son and the PoliMi’s Rector’s Delegate for International Affairs Prof. Stefano Ronchi.
