Le Dang Thai Phong and Ngo Quang Truong are two familiar names in the group of students who are passionate about researching and manufacturing machines. From this interest, both have had outstanding scientific research projects with many highly applicable products.

Recently, student Tran Vinh Toan (Class 42K16 - Faculty of Finance, University of Economics – the University of Danang) has excelled more than 1,000 candidates from universities majoring in economics, finance, accounting, business management throughout the country won the first prize of the "Breaking Financial Knowledge" Contest (Virtual Finhack-2020)

The University of Danang in collaboration with Russian Consulate General in Danang, Vietnam and the Danang Union of Friendship Organizations organized a conference and photo exhibition on “the 70^th anniversary of Vietnam-Russia traditional friendship and strategic cooperation”.

Recently, senior leaders of the University of Danang (UD) attended the meeting chaired by Vice Chairman Le Trung Chinh with the participants of senior representatives of Danang People's Committee and Danang departments.

Recently, the World Bank (WB)’s Board of Executive Directors has approved the grant of USD 295 million for the Higher Education Development Project in Vietnam which aims to contribute to enhancing the training and research capabilities of the University of Danang (UD) and Vietnam National University (VNU) – Hanoi and VNU-HCM City.
