Strengthening industry partnerships to expand internship and employment opportunities for students

On May 30, 2026, the University of Danang - University of Foreign Language Studies (UD-UFLS) signed cooperation agreements with First Penguin Business Community Co., Ltd. (Japan) and B-Production Co., Ltd. (Vietnam), with a focus on creating more opportunities for students to undertake internships, gain professional experience, and enhance their future career development.

According to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Long, Rector of UD-UFLS, strengthening collaboration and engagement with enterprises has always been one of the University's strategic priorities. Such partnerships generate mutual benefits while providing support and companionship for students in their academic pursuits and the development of practical competencies.

Representatives of First Penguin Business Community highly appreciated the University's academic reputation and brand prestige. They expressed their expectation that this cooperation milestone would open up numerous opportunities for students to improve their professional skills, gain exposure to real-world working environments, and better integrate into regional and international labor markets, particularly for students of  Faculty of Japanese Language and Culture.

Previously, the UD - VN-UK Institute for Research and Executive Education signed a cooperation agreement with Family Hospital to collaborate in training and research activities in areas of shared interest and expertise, including Biomedical Science and community healthcare.

According to Dr. Nguyen Hiep, Director of UD-VNUK, the cooperation framework covers a wide range of activities, including internship placements for students, academic exchanges, recruitment opportunities, and the promotion of international collaboration.

A representative of Family Hospital shared that the hospital is currently developing a high-quality international hospital project in Hoa Quy. The project, covering nearly 1,000 hectares, includes a general hospital, a nursing care institute, and medical research centers. This initiative represents not only the enterprise’s long-term development strategy but also a valuable opportunity for students from higher education institutions to undertake internships and gain practical experience in a professional environment, thereby strengthening university-industry collaboration in the development of high-quality human resources.
