The Conference on strengthening substantive and effective linkages among the Triple Helix to advance national development in the Rising Era

On July 10, 2026, at Danang Ball Room, Furama Resort, as part of the Da Nang Business, Finance and Technology Week 2026, the University of Danang (UD), in collaboration with the Da Nang People's Committee and Furama Resort, hosted the “Conference strengthening the linkages among the Triple Helix (Gorvernment - University - Industry) to contribute to national development in the era of rise”.

The Conference aims to contribute to the successful implementation of the Politburo's Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 22, 2024 on breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, and national digital transformation, as well as Resolution No. 71-NQ/TW dated August 22, 2025 on breakthroughs in education and training. It also seeks to establish a forum connecting leaders, policymakers, managers, business executives, scientists, and experts to foster substantive, sustainable, and effective collaboration among Gorvernment - University - Industry in education and training, human resource development, scientific research, technology, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
On this occasion, leaders of the Da Nang People's Committee and UD signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation for the 2026-2031 period, covering eight key areas: 1- Education, training, and human resource development; 2- Science and technology; 3- Enterprise development, entrepreneurship, and innovation; 4- Agriculture and environment; 5- Policy consultation, public governance, and institutional development; 6- Economy, culture, and society; 7- Physical education, sports, and public health; 8- Cooperation in implementing the UD Urban Area Project.
The Conference was attended by representatives of central government agencies and ministries; leaders of the Da Nang Party Committee, the Da Nang People's Committee, departments and agencies of Da Nang City and other provinces and cities; representatives of central and local media agencies; leaders of national universities, regional universities, higher education institutions, research institutes, organizations, corporations, and partner enterprises; together with policymakers, scientists, and experts from Vietnam and abroad.
The Conference has attracted significant interest and valuable contributions from leaders, policymakers, scientists, experts, universities, corporations, and enterprises both domestically and internationally, with nearly 100 papers and presentations submitted to the Organizing Committee. Following a rigorous review and selection process, nearly 80 papers have been included in the Conference Proceedings (with an ISBN).
With the strong support and active engagement of the Triple Helix, the Conference is expected to serve as a meaningful platform for strengthening collaboration, creating new opportunities for practical and effective partnerships, and contributing to sustainable national development.
