One of the highlights of international integration 2020 was the event that the Prime Minister had just approved the Plan to implement the European-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) between the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and the European Union (EU) (Decision No. 1201 / QD-TTg dated August 06^th, 2020).

This event was considered as an extremely important milestone when from August 01^st, 2020, EVFTA officially came into practice in the context that the world was facing the economic challenge to overcome difficulties due to impacts of the Covid-19 epidemic, as assessed by the Prime Minister, EVFTA was like a "huge highway" connecting the EU to Vietnam. Senior leaders of University of Economics - The University of Danang (UD-DUE), including heads of Financial majors, had created a lot of job opportunities for students to integrate with the domestic and international labor markets.

At the online conference on the action plan to implement EVFTA on August 06^th, 2020, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc also raised the question how to develop high-quality human resources, that would be considered as a "survival factor in business”. For the successful integration, it must be necessary to have strong enterprises as well as human resources in management, including financial management.

In the Enrollment season 2020, Faculty of Finance, UD-DUE has two key majors including: Corporate Finance (Finance-Banking) and Financial Management (Business Administration).

According to leaders of Faculty of Finance, UD-DUE, the curriculum of the Corporate Finance was built in the direction of financial activities management relating to different types of businesses. Learners would be trained in knowledge, skills, and professional quality from general knowledge in the banking-finance to a comprehensive background in financial activities in different types of businesses, financial institution and markets.

Finance Management

Learners would be trained with specialized curriculum in financial management functions at enterprises, whereby the general knowledge of business administration would help learners be equipped with a comprehensive knowledge of business administration and finance in the enterprise; The specialized knowledge section would provide full information of financial management in the interactive relationship with other management functions such as production management, marketing management .

Graduates could be ready to undertake positions in various financial institutions and businesses such as financial analysis and planning, treasury management, asset and capital management, credit management, financial risk management, corporate mergers and acquisitions operations, multinational financial management .

Every year, UD-DUE and Faculty of Finance as well, always offer many scholarships for students, including policy scholarships, scholarships sponsored by businesses and alumni, scholarships for study abroad and international exchange.
