The MoU signing ceremony among the University of Danang, SG Crossing Company and Keiju Healthcare System, Japan

In the morning of July 5th, 2022, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quang Son-Vice President of the University of Danang (UD) and Mr. Suganuma Kurato-General Director of SG Crossing co-chaired the MoU signing ceremony among UD, SG Crossing and Keiju Healthcare System (KHS) with the virtual participation of Mr. Kanno Masahiro-General Director of KHS.

Attending the ceremony were Ms. Atsumi Kamino- Chief Executive Director, Tousenkai Healthcare System; Ms. Shindo Hiromi - Head, General Affairs Department, Tousenkai Healthcare System; Ph.D., MD. Le Viet Nho- Dean, UD-School of Medicine and Pharmacy (UD-SMP); senior leaders of: International Cooperation Department, Student Affairs Department, the Japan Center; and representatives of functional departments of Tousenkai Medical Group and Keiju General Hospital.

At the ceremony, Assoc. Dr. Le Quang Son warmly welcomed and highly acknowledged the significance of the MoU signing, which would promote the connection among training, the use and development of human resources, thereby contributing to strengthen the training quality in the field of healthcare and nursing of UD-SMP, meeting the need of medical human resource improvement of Japanese hospitals and enterprises.
Vice President Le Quang Son also expressed his belief that the cooperation among the three parties would open up a great opportunity for academic exchange between experts and lecturers; better the training programs, and support UD-SMP’s students in their internship opportunities, professional development and employment after graduation.

General Director Suganuma Kurato expressed his pleasure when continuing to connect and expand the cooperation relationship with UD - a national key university with prestige and experience in training high qualified human resource, in which UD-SMP is a destination for medical human resource training.
Attending the ceremony online, Mr. Kanno Masahiro-General Director of KHS shared several outstanding information relating to the huge needs of medical human resource in Japan.

Souvenir presentation
With the witness of relevant representatives, leaders of UD, SG Crossing and KHS signed a MOU with the following contents:
- Joint programs in fields of mutual interests;
- Scholarships for UD-SMP’s students studying Japanese;
- Opportunities for UD-SMP’s students to study and work in healthcare organizations at KHS;
- Exchange of UD-SMP’s faculty, administrative staff, and students;
- Joint cooperation on medical care and nursing professional activities.
In the beginning, UD – SMP will be the pioneer to directly deploy this MoU.

Previously, UD signed the MOU with SG Crossing, Japan. Up to now, the two sides continue fostering the cooperation relationship by signing a tripartite cooperation agreement with the participation of KHS, Japan opening a lot of opportunities to promote the comprehensive and in-depth activities in the field of medical human resource development.
